
Britte Koolen is a visual artist who initially worked with wood for sculptures and installations. During a residency at PADA in Portugal, she challenged herself to explore new materials, using found industrial objects to reshape their stories. There, she discovered ceramics a material that deeply resonated with her.
At Cool Clay Collective, she became captivated by mold-making, developing rapidly and creating a striking collection of unique objects. Her work reflects her artistic growth and ability to master new techniques, seamlessly integrating them into her practice.
